Welcome to Mastermyne Engineering

Mastermyne’s Engineering division provides mine consumables, fabrication, engineering and overhaul services to underground mine owners and operators. This division includes the Capricorn Mining business which was established in 2000 and acquired by Mastermyne in October 2006.

The Mastermyne Engineering division has a strong market presence in Queensland’s Bowen Basin region, with an increasing presence in the Hunter Valley and Illawarra. In addition to selling mining consumables and conducting fabrication, engineering and overhaul work for mine owners and operators Mastermyne Engineering also works closely with the other Mastermyne divisions by:

• identifying opportunities where mine owners or operators require specialist mining, mechanical or electrical services;
• providing mining consumables to projects where Mastermyne Underground operates;
• developing new innovative products such as the Ferrett drill rig that can be exclusively used by Mastermyne Underground; and
• undertaking general fabricating and repair work.
