David Fitzpatrick - General Manager

Dave is the General Manager of Mastermyne’s Engineering Division and oversees operations at our Yeppoon and Thornton workshop facilities.

He has been involved in the design and development of numerous fabricated products to the underground coal industry in both South Africa and Australia since 1991. Dave has successfully established fabrication companies in Australia and has introduced new innovative ideas into the ventilation control device market. His tenacity and leadership abilities enhance his aim to make Mastermyne Engineering one of the largest suppliers of fabricated equipment to the Australian mining industry.

Dave has a Bachelor of Science Degree (with honours) and a Diploma in Production Engineering.

Gavin Welsh – Sales and Marketing representative

Gavin started working for Mastermyne Engineering in 2007 as the sales and marketing representative, bringing his previous experience of sales representative for health and safety equipment. Gavin enjoys the diversity of his job, in particular working as a team member and understands the importance of good communication.
